I’m Jason and I’ve been writing and recording songs since I can remember. Musically, I am known as Distance Of Hope and have also released 3 albums and 3 EPs under different names – Calmer, Blame Jack, Blue Angel and Pearl Viper.
My new project ‘Breaking The Silence’ is a series of 3 EPs called ‘Spring’, ‘Summer’ and ‘Autumn’. The first single will be ‘Compass’ on the ‘Spring’ EP which will be released in February 2026.
My last Distance Of Hope project, the A Thousand Suns EP , was released in 2024. In the preceding ’12 Songs’ project I released a new single and accompanying video at 12 o’clock on the 12th of every month for 12 months. The last song’Nothing But The Ghost Lights Left’ was released in 2021. I released ‘The Ghosts Of Granada’, my first album as Distance Of Hope in 2019.
I live in Granada in the south of Spain.
