Hi. It’s been a while. The ’12 Songs’ project finished in May 2021 when Covid was still at its peak. That feels like a very long time ago, yet at the time it felt like it was never going to end.
So, music-wise, I’ve written and recorded about 20 songs for the next album. At some point soon, I’ll whittle these down to about 10 or 12 and then finish those with a view to releasing the next Distance Of Hope album probably in Spring 2024.
I also recently moved to Granada in Spain which may well have an influence as the last DOH album ended up being called ‘The Ghosts Of Granada’.
I’m looking forward to lots of new things in the coming months. Hope to see you around.

Hola. Ha sido un tiempo. El proyecto ’12 Canciones’ finalizó en mayo de 2021 cuando el Covid aún estaba en su apogeo. Eso se siente como hace mucho tiempo, pero en ese momento parecía que nunca iba a terminar.
En cuanto a la música, he escrito y grabado unas 20 canciones para el próximo álbum. En algún momento pronto, los reduciré a unos 10 o 12 y luego los terminaré con miras a lanzar el próximo álbum de Distance Of Hope probablemente en la primavera de 2024.
También me mudé recientemente a Granada en España, lo que bien puede tener una influencia ya que el último álbum de DOH terminó llamándose ‘The Ghosts Of Granada’.
